Members of the Watermark Narrowboat Society own a 67 foot, 6 berth narrowboat named Watermark which is available for hire to all the Society members, and we welcome applications to join the Society from all eligible staff and pensioners.
Membership costs just £25 per year, and allows you to apply to hire Watermark either through the ballot in January, or by choosing any week not allocated after the ballot has taken place. One week hires are given priority, but if availability allows, two week and part-week hires may be possible.
Members will receive a newsletter a couple of times a year, and will be invited to attend the AGM, giving them an opportunity to have a say in where Watermark might be moored each season, and in the priorities for spending the accumulated funds on the upkeep and refurbishment of Watermark.
