Watermark members have the opportunity to suggest base locations for Watermark each season, as part of our AGM. The committee will take these suggestions into consideration, but will also be mindful of the need to have a suitable marina to maintain Watermark throughout the season. We usually leave the boat in one location for between two and four years, depending on the variety of routes available from that location.
Watermark has been moved to Alvechurch Marina on the Worcester & Birmingham Canal in preparation for the 2025 season. Your holiday must start and finish at this marina. From here you can travel to Worcester, Birmingham or Stratford-upon-Avon, which includes passing through the 26 lock Lapworth flight (pictured below), or you can cruise the Stourport Ring, the Black Country Ring, or even the Warwickshire Ring.
